Just ask. Your account, your security, and your domains, all in one chat.
Managing domains shouldn't mean hunting through menus. With the GNAME AI Assistant, you just say what you need. It finds the information, explains it in plain language, and makes changes once you give the go-ahead. You stay in control, and the busywork goes away.
Here's a first look at what the assistant can do, starting with two areas that matter every day: your account and your security. We'll also show you which settings you can change in a single step.
Not every setting works the same way. Some take a single action. Some need one quick choice from you. And a few are view-only. Here's the breakdown.
| Feature | Input needed | Notes |
| Safeguard transactions such as domain transfers | None | Takes effect immediately. Allowing transactions later requires verifications through all 2FA methods. |
| Set default language | zhcn or us | Applies to the interface going forward. Not retroactive. |
| Send email verification code | Email and purpose | Template verification sends a link. All other purposes send a code. |
| Send SMS verification code | Phone and purpose | 60-second cooldown per number, per purpose. |
| Resend authorization notice | Authorization record | Notifies the pending invitee again. |
| Cancel an authorization | Authorization record | Revokes delegated access. Status changes to cancelled or unbound. |
| Edit authorization remark | Record and new text | Free-form label. No side effects. |
| Feature | What the assistant needs from you |
| Set default DNS | Which DNS entry to use. The assistant lists them and marks the current default. |
| Set default domain template | Which template ID to use. |
| Modify profile | The full required set: surname, given name, gender, country, province, city, address, postal code, and phone. Add WhatsApp or Telegram (at least one). Singapore accounts cannot change the country or dialing code. |
| Allow transactions such as domain transfers | The verification codes or answers for every required method. If the security question is required, it can only be removed manually under Account Management, then Security Center, on the website. |
These are yours to look at. There's nothing to change here:
See your account at a glance
Ask for your account information, and you'll get one clear overview:
It's the quickest way to check who you're signed in as and where your funds stand.
The assistant can show your name, location, contact details, company name, WhatsApp, and Telegram. Your phone number and email appear masked by default, to keep them private. To see the full values, release operation protection first. The assistant never guesses at a masked value.
Need to make a change? Update your profile in a single request. Before saving, the assistant checks a few rules for you:
Pick a country, and the assistant fills in the dialing code. If a country has no province or city list, just type your location in.
Ask for your domain asset statistics and see every domain counted by status: total, expiring soon, expired, transferring in or out, renewing, in push, on pre-order, in auction, listed for sale, and active templates. It's an easy way to spot what needs attention, like expiring domains, and to see what's already moving.
Three defaults apply to every new registration:
Read all three in one request, and change each one on its own. A new default only applies to future registrations. Your existing domains stay exactly as they are.
Review your security posture and see it all in one place:
For each factor, you'll also see whether your current policy uses it. So the big question, how safe is my account and what's missing, gets a clear answer.
Having a security factor isn't the same as using it. Login verification shows three states for email, SMS, security question, and MFA: bound, enforced at login, and available. If a factor is bound but not required at sign-in, you'll see it, and you can close the gap.
Check which third-party accounts you use to sign in: Google, Facebook, X, Apple, and GitHub. For each one, you'll see whether it's linked and the display name on the link.
Authorization management covers anyone you've allowed to sign in to your account. The assistant can:
Need to remove someone's access? Cancelling the authorization is the fastest way.
Operation protection adds a second lock to sensitive actions, separate from login. The assistant can check its status, turn it on, and release it.
Two things to know:
The status check shows what the platform knows. If you released protection manually on the website, it might not show up yet.
The assistant can send email and SMS verification codes for security applications, identity checks, email or phone changes, top-ups, and releasing operation protection. Email codes have two sending routes, so if one message doesn't arrive, try the other. SMS allows one send per phone number, per type, every 60 seconds, so give it a moment between tries.
For domain template email verification, you'll get a link to select. You won't need to type a code.
Every change is a deliberate one:
Your account, your access, and your portfolio, all one question away. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our AI Assistant or our support team through live chat. Good luck, domainers!
